Mandala Patch Caballero currently holds the rank of Mandala under the Pekiti Tirsia Tactical Association, A Filipino martial art dealing with Close-Quarters Combatives using Edged, Impact, and Improvised Weapons. He is also part of the Board of Directors for the same association and stands as the Director for the Philippines.
Patch is also a Tri-Angle Combatives (TRICOM) instructor certified in TRICOM Fundamentals and Edged Weapons Countermeasures for Survival Edge Tactical Systems. He also has a professional experience and background in Executive Protection, working with different foreign and local personalities and companies providing different security services from executive protection, surveillance, defensive tactics, and combatives training.
Has a background in Disaster Preparedness and Management from the University of Pittsburg and Johns Hopkins University.
He also has a background in Forensic Science from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, Tactical Medicine (TEMS, austere medicine), and Bleeding Control Instructor for Stop the Bleed Program under the American College of Surgeons and the Tactical Committee on Combat Casualty Care. Currently, Mandala Patch also serves as a volunteer for a Disaster Response Rapid Deployment Team officially recognized by the Office of Civil Defense under the Philippine Department of Defense.

Pekiti Tirsia Kali Background:
Mandala Patch founded Hangkilan back in May 2011 in Quezon City, Philippines.
Patch started training in Pekiti Tirsia Kali Manila under, now, Tuhon Kit Acenas together with his brother Buddy Acenas. He was promoted to Lakan Guro back in 2010 and was promoted to Mataas na Guro during March 2012 at the Pekiti Tirsia Kali - Asia Pacific Convention in Batangas, Philippines.
He also trained intensively under a wide variety of instructors like Tuhon Nonoy Garrucho of Sundangan Baneg from Bacolod, Philippines, known for their intense edged weapons tactics. Patch has also undergone intense training directly from the Supreme Grand Master, Grand Tuhon Leo T. Gaje, both in Bacolod, the hometown of Pekiti Tirsia Kali and in Metro Manila. In all his Kali journey, he was also fortunate to have trained with different PTK pillars and other FMA instructors from the likes of Doug Marcaida of Marcaida Kali, Tuhon Philip Gelinas of Gelinas Academy of Mixed Martial Arts, Tuhon Jared Wihongi of Pekiti Tirsia Tactical Association and other Kali instructors both from the Philippines and abroad.
Patch also serves as an instructor of the stick fighting program of joint Hangkilan and Kali Mundo, together with stick fighting director, Tuhon Kit Acenas, which has been ongoing since it started in 2009. Patch was a product of the 2nd stick fighting hybrid program in 2010 that was held together with the Philippine Force Recon Marines.
Currently, appointed as the Pekiti Tirsia Tactical Association Director for the Philippines by the Chairman of the Board Tuhon Jared Wihongi, and Executive Director Tuhon Kit Acenas.
